The property, once a fideikommiss (entailed estate) disbanded in 1988, spans about 7,500 hectares including farmland, forests, and lakes, supporting activities such as agriculture, horse breeding, hunting, fishing, tourism, real estate development, and cultural preservation with a redesigned 19th-century ornamental park. 

Today, the privately held firm with 11-50 employees leases the land from Ericsbergs Fideikommiss AB, blending historical legacy with modern ventures like biodiversity efforts and event hosting at the preserved castle.
