The Archaeological Museum Havránok near Liptovská Sielnica, Slovakia, is an open-air site overlooking Liptovská Mara reservoir, showcasing a major Celtic hillfort and religious center from the Púchov culture (300 BCE–180 CE) where the Cotini tribe blended with earlier Lusatian peoples. Excavated in the 1960s during dam construction, it features reconstructed structures like a fortified gateway with stone walls (120–50 BCE), farmsteads, pottery kilns, huts, and a prominent Celtic shrine with evidence of rituals including human sacrifices and burnt offerings of grain and jewelry. Destroyed around the Common Era by Quadi Germans or Dacians, a medieval wooden castle later occupied the site (11th–15th centuries); proclaimed a national cultural monument in 1967, it hosts summer events demonstrating Celtic life.
