The Bali Botanical Garden, also known as Kebun Raya Bali or Kebun Raya Eka Karya Bedugul, is Indonesia's largest botanical garden, spanning 157 hectares in the cool, mountainous Bedugul area of Candikuning, Tabanan Regency, central Bali, at around 1,250-1,400 meters above sea level.

Established on July 15, 1959, on the slopes of Tapak Hill overlooking Lake Bratan and Ulun Danu Temple, it serves as a key center for plant research, conservation, education, and family-friendly recreation amid misty tropical mountain forests and open green spaces.

Visitors explore diverse collections like over 300 orchid species, 100 cacti and begonia varieties, ferns, rhododendrons, carnivorous plants, bamboo gardens, and traditional Balinese medicinal plants, with greenhouses and trails offering fresh highland air just 60-90 minutes' drive from Denpasar.

The garden welcomes around 500,000 guests yearly, open daily from 8:00 AM to 4:00-6:00 PM with entry fees around 25,500 IDR, making it an ideal 1-3 hour escape for nature lovers.
