Danau Lait Botanical Garden, also known as Kebun Raya Danau Lait, is a botanical garden located in Sanggau Regency, West Kalimantan, Indonesia, currently under development. The garden is situated near Danau Lait, a rainwater-fed lake spanning approximately 800 hectares with a depth of up to 4.5 meters, featuring 12 small islands rich in biodiversity and surrounded by Mount Lait and Mount Tiong Kandang. The area contains 328 plants from equatorial regions, specifically representing Borneo's lowland rainforest flora, making it a conservation site for endemic species from this unique ecosystem. Beyond being a botanical garden, Danau Lait is also a natural tourism destination offering serene lake views surrounded by hills, freshwater fish like Toman (Snakehead Fish) and Biawan, fishing spots, rubber plantations along the lakeshore, hammocking areas, and motorboat services called "sepit" for lake tours. The location is accessible at 80 kilometers from Pontianak City, approximately 1.5 hours by car toward Tayan, Sanggau, in Lubuk Sabuk Village, Sekayam District, West Kalimantan Province, requiring no extra physical effort like hiking or trekking to reach the lakeside.
