Batería de San Felipe is an elongated 18th-century coastal battery in Cádiz, Andalusia, Spain, extending from the northern flank of Baluarte de San Carlos at Punta San Felipe to protect the city's vital port entrance.
Designed in 1731 by military engineer Ignacio Sala and completed in the 1770s, it features a continuous outer seawall and 14 interior vaulted chambers plus three in the access ramp for storage, troops, and artillery support.
Today it borders nightlife areas, promenades, yacht clubs, and modern docks while serving as a walkable vantage over the bay, blending military heritage with urban life.
