Bodhi Tataung, also known as Maha Bodhi Tahtaung, is a major Buddhist pilgrimage site near Monywa in the Sagaing Region of Myanmar.
The complex is famous for its thousands of Bodhi trees and Buddha statues, as well as the enormous Laykyun Sekkya standing Buddha, one of the tallest Buddha statues in the world, and a giant reclining Buddha nearby. Founded by U Narada, the site serves as a center for worship, meditation, and Buddhist learning.
Its impressive religious monuments, peaceful surroundings, and striking views make it one of Myanmar’s most remarkable spiritual attractions.
