Budinarci is a small rural village in the Berovo Municipality of North Macedonia, situated in the eastern part of the country along the right bank of the Bregalnica River at about 780 meters elevation, roughly 12 km northwest of Berovo town. Covering a vast 46.4 km² territory dominated by forests (over 2,700 hectares), pastures, and arable land, it lies on the regional road between Berovo and Vinica near the Maleševska-Plachkovica mountain range. The village features traditional Macedonian architecture, highlighted by the 1854 Church of Saint George, a three-nave structure with a semicircular apse, lovely frescoes, and an adjacent bell tower. In the 2002 census, it had 682 mostly Macedonian inhabitants engaged in agriculture, forestry, and local crafts, with a peaceful community life amid natural surroundings.
