Cala Arenas is a small, natural beach located near the city of Algeciras in Cádiz, Andalusia, on Spain’s southern coast at the edge of the Strait of Gibraltar.

It lies within the El Estrecho Natural Park and is made up of three short rocky coves with a mix of gravel and small stones rather than soft sand, stretching about 400 meters in length and around 30 meters in width.

The beach is relatively quiet and undisturbed, with clear turquoise waters and scenic views across the strait toward Africa, and it is reached by a footpath through vegetation from the nearby Getares area, which helps keep it less crowded and more secluded.

The surrounding cliffs and geology reflect the Baetic mountain system, and the area also has a rich archaeological past, with traces of an ancient Phoenician port and later watchtowers and fortifications tied to the strategic position of the strait.
