Castell d'Agres is a medieval defensive structure overlooking the village of Agres in Alicante province, Valencian Community, Spain, situated at the edge of the Sierra de Mariola natural park amid almond and olive groves.

Built during the Arab period as a small farmstead protected by a castle and watchtowers, it gained prominence after King James I's conquest in 1248, receiving its Carta Puebla charter and repopulation privileges alongside nearby Bocairent and Mariola to secure Christian frontier territories.

Now integrated with the Santuari de la Mare de Déu del Castell - a Franciscan monastery housing the revered statue of Mare de Déu d'Agres discovered in 1484 the site blends military history with pilgrimage significance, offering steep hikes to panoramic valley views and remnants of ancient Roman and prehistoric settlements nearby.
