Castell d'Orís i capella de Sant Pere comprises the ruins of a medieval fortress and its Romanesque chapel on a rocky plateau in Orís, Osona region of Catalonia, Spain, first documented in 914 AD as a frontier defense established around 1000 by the Counts of Cerdanya during the Marca Hispánica against Muslim incursions.

The site reveals multiple construction phases across four eras, including 12th-century Romanesque chapel foundations at the southwest corner, a large primitive Gothic vaulted room sheltered by late Gothic walls, and 15th-17th century northern fortifications that endured earthquakes, the Remensa peasant revolts, Catalan Civil War sieges, and French destruction.

Abandoned by the 16th century after centuries under lords like the Orís family—imprisoned in 1462—and sporadically used as a 19th-century cemetery, the archaeological remains now evoke medieval life amid panoramic Pyrenean views, accessible despite fencing.
