Castell de Farners is an 11th-century Romanesque castle perched on a hill in Santa Coloma de Farners, Selva comarca, Girona province, Catalonia, Spain, amid the Guilleries mountains.
First mentioned mid-11th century when viscount Ramon Folc de Cardona pledged allegiance to the Count of Barcelona, it remained under Farners family control until the 13th century before passing to Vilademany lords and abandonment by the 15th century, except for brief 18th-century Bourbon occupation.
Featuring a distinctive round main tower of 211 m², crenellated walls, and interior quarters excavated and restored in 1991-1992, it now welcomes visitors via scenic trails from Sant Salvador Park, offering stunning panoramas of the Selva plains.
