Castillo - Casa Fuerte de los Herrera in Arroyo de la Luz, Cáceres province, Spain, is a 15th-century fortress originally built between 1439 and 1483 during the Herrera family's lordship as a symbol of their power and to defend the recently reconquered territory.

Though some legends suggest earlier Almohad origins, historical records confirm its construction in the mid-15th century under García de Herrera, featuring a square enclosure with a moat, granite walls, and cylindrical towers with arrow slits.

Abandoned as a residence in the 16th century, it fell into ruins by the 18th century, later serving as a cemetery until its 2006 restoration into a municipal cultural space now hosting events like a film festival.
