Castillo de Aguas Mansas is a remarkably well-preserved 13th-14th century medieval fortress in Agoncillo, La Rioja, northern Spain, constructed in ashlar stone with a rectangular layout featuring four corner towers and curtain walls surrounding a central courtyard.

First mentioned in 10th-century documents as a Muslim stronghold conquered by Sancho Garcés, it passed to the powerful Medrano family in 1337 under Rodrigo Alfonso, whose coat of arms with the Calatrava Cross adorns the eastern entrance, reflecting their noble lineage from the Battle of Las Navas de Tolosa. 

Fully restored since 1989 after centuries as barracks and dwellings, the site now serves as Agoncillo's town hall and library, exemplifying La Rioja's finest civil medieval architecture amid vineyard landscapes.
