Castillo de Luna, also known as Castillo de Alburquerque, is a 13th-century medieval fortress of Moorish origin perched on a cliff overlooking the town of Alburquerque in Badajoz province, Extremadura, Spain, strategically positioned near the Portuguese border.

Rebuilt and expanded in the mid-15th century by Álvaro de Luna, powerful constable of Castile and Master of the Order of Santiago, it features three defensive enclosures with numerous towers, a prominent five-sided Torre del Homenaje connected by a drawbridge, a late Romanesque-Gothic church of Santa María del Castillo within its bailey, and later 18th-century Vauban-style bastions added during Portuguese occupation.

Passed through noble hands amid wars and intrigues before falling into partial ruin, the well-preserved monument declared a National Monument in 1924 offers panoramic views and testifies to centuries of frontier conflicts.
