Castillo de Benabarre is a historic fortress of Muslim origin dating to the late 10th or early 11th century, originally known as Ibn Awar, located atop a dominant hill in the town of Benabarre, Huesca province, Aragon, Spain.

Conquered by King Ramiro I of Aragon around 1062, it became a key defensive site with perimeter walls and rectangular towers, later evolving into a county residence during the 14th-century Ribagorza County peak under figures like Pedro de Aragón, incorporating Gothic expansions including the adjacent Santa María church.

Dismantled in 1596 by Philip II and rebuilt in the 17th century as a musket fort during the Catalan Revolt, then damaged in the Carlist Wars, it was restored after 2011 and now opens to visitors as a cultural landmark overlooking Pyrenean routes.
