Castillo de Biel, located in the village of Biel within Zaragoza province, Aragon, Spain, in the Cinco Villas region, is a medieval fortress dating back to around 1060 during the reign of Sancho Ramírez, possibly built by Norman masons.
Enclosed by irregular walls, it features a striking 25-meter tower with five floors of 105 square meters each, supported by semicircular arches, plus an open top platform, showcasing Romanesque architecture.
Though modified over centuries and now in partial ruin with only outer walls remaining, it has been declared an Asset of Cultural Interest and is undergoing restoration, offering panoramic views of surrounding mountains and valleys.
