Castillo de Cote stands as a Gothic castle near Montellano in Seville province, Spain, constructed at the end of the 13th century under Alfonso X's orders and granted to the Order of Alcántara in 1297, forming part of the defensive "Moorish Band" fortifications alongside nearby castles like Morón.

The site features two concentric enclosures: an outer wall encircling the medieval town at 300 meters elevation and a thicker inner wall protecting the upper castle plateau, with archaeological remnants of dwellings and ceramics scattered throughout.

Its standout feature is the unique four-apse tower-chapel, the only tetrabsidal donjon in the Iberian Peninsula, boasting a four-lobed plan with a ribbed central vault and attached apses, highlighting its military and religious significance during frontier conflicts.
