Castillo de Jerez de los Caballeros is a 13th-century fortress of Moorish origin in Jerez de los Caballeros, Badajoz province, Extremadura, Spain, reconquered around 1238 by King Alfonso IX with aid from the Knights Templar and Santiago, who transformed it into their regional stronghold.

The pentagonal citadel atop a steep hill integrates with extensive medieval walls featuring semicircular towers, Gothic windows like the geminada polilobulada in the Torre del Homenaje, and defensive elements including almenas, aspilleras, and a 15th-century chapel amid its gardens and aljibe. 

Passed to the Order of Santiago after the Templars' dissolution, it endured Portuguese sieges and later served as a market until 1950, preserving layers of Paleolithic to Islamic history as a panoramic landmark.
