Castillo de La Adrada, perched on a hilltop in La Adrada, Ávila province, Spain, is a medieval fortress built in the 14th century around a Gothic church from the 13th century, using granite masonry and brick at the behest of powerful figures like Álvaro de Luna.

In the 16th century, it gained a prominent keep tower and gunner’s cube, later evolving into a Renaissance palace with arcaded patios, subterranean passages, and a well. Today, this well-preserved Site of Cultural Interest hosts the Tiétar Valley Historical Interpretation Center, cultural events like concerts in the church apse, and draws visitors for its ties to Spanish royalty including the Catholic Monarchs.
