Castillo de los Condes de Benavente overlooks the medieval town of Puebla de Sanabria in Zamora province, Castilla y León, Spain, built in the late 15th century by Rodrigo Alonso Pimentel, the fourth Count of Benavente, as a castle-palace on earlier 13th-century foundations.

Featuring a square layout with wide towers, vaulted shooting chambers, and a central 23-meter homage tower called "el macho" connected by a drawbridge, it served strategic border defense near Portugal, enduring sieges in the Peninsular War, War of Spanish Succession, and Carlist Wars.

Now restored and declared a Cultural Landmark in 2022, it houses exhibits on Renaissance costumes and local history, offering panoramic views for a modest entry fee.
