Castillo de Peñaranda de Duero is a well-preserved 10th-century fortress on a hill overlooking the town of Peñaranda de Duero in Burgos province, Castilla y León, Spain, originally built during Fernán González's era to halt Muslim advances in the Reconquista and later reformed in the 15th century by the Counts of Miranda del Castañar.

Its standout features include a central square keep tower with four wooden-floored levels, thick crenellated walls with towers, and remnants of an ancient town-enclosing wall like the Puerta de las Monjas gate, showcasing perfect proportions that rank it among Burgos's finest historic structures.

Declared a Monumento Histórico Artístico in 1931 and protected under Spanish heritage laws, it offers panoramic views and symbolizes the region's medieval defensive heritage.
