Castillo de Rivilla de Barajas, also known as Castillo de Castronuevo, is a 15th-century fortress-palace in the rural village of Rivilla de Barajas, Ávila province, Castilla y León, Spain.
Built before 1481 by Gil de Vivero and remodeled in 1489 by his son before sale to the Duke of Alba, it features two rectangular sections with three circular and two rectangular towers, artillery parapets, a moat, slit windows for archers, and Renaissance interiors including galleries and staircases.
Owned by the Alba family since 1489, this austere military structure blending Gothic and Mudejar styles stands amid cereal fields as a private testament to noble defensive architecture.
