Castillo de San Miguel in Garachico, Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain, is a small 16th-century fortress built between 1575 and 1587 under orders from King Philip II to defend the island's busiest port against pirate raids, featuring a square volcanic stone tower with artillery platforms, barracks, and a crenellated walkway.

Its robust masonry housed up to seven cannons by 1589, protecting Garachico's trade wealth until the 1706 volcanic eruption buried the harbor, rendering it obsolete while sparing the structure itself. Now a modest museum and visitor center with exhibits on local history, flora, fauna, and the town's dramatic past, it offers rooftop panoramas of the coast and adjacent natural lava pools.
