Castillo del Cerro de los Moros in Cartagena, Spain, is an 18th-century neoclassical fortress built between 1773 and 1778 on Moros Hill in the Santa Lucía neighborhood to defend the city's naval hospital and San José Gates under King Charles III's military expansions.

Designed by engineer Juan Martín Cermeño and completed by Mateo Vodopich as a crowned work rather than a true hornwork, it protected Cartagena's strategic harbor during heightened Mediterranean threats following the War of the Spanish Succession, where the hill had proven vital. 

Now deteriorated and bricked up against vandals, this Bien de Interés Cultural site offers panoramic port views amid urban surroundings, symbolizing the Bourbon era's defensive innovations.
