Castle Cornago is a robust 13th-15th century fortress crowning the hilltop above the village of Cornago in La Rioja, northern Spain, originally built on 9th-century Muslim foundations during a volatile frontier zone between Castile, Navarre, and Aragon.

Reconstructed with solid ashlar limestone walls forming a rectangular enclosure with four distinctive towers—three circular of varying sizes and one square—it served as a key defensive stronghold, later owned by powerful figures like Álvaro de Luna, Constable of Castile. 

Restored and now functioning as an exhibition hall, the castle offers panoramic views over surrounding valleys and preserves La Rioja's medieval military heritage as a highlight on the Route of the Castles.
