Castle Kurovice is a well-preserved medieval fortress in the village of Kurovice in the Zlín Region of Czechia.

Originally founded in the 13th century, it is considered one of the most important surviving fortified residences of the lower nobility in the country. The castle evolved over several centuries, with major Gothic and Renaissance modifications carried out by noble families such as the Vrchlabský and Zoubek families. Its defensive features once included double walls, moats, a drawbridge, and a fortified tower, many elements of which still reflect its medieval character.

After serving various purposes, including residential use in the 20th century, the castle underwent restoration efforts and is now recognized as a protected cultural monument. Ongoing preservation work has helped safeguard its historic architecture, including vaulted ceilings, coats of arms, and Renaissance details. Today, Castle Kurovice is a notable historical landmark and an important part of the region’s heritage.
