Castle of Onda, located in the town of Onda in Castellón province, Valencian Community, Spain, originated as a 10th-century Muslim fortress built atop earlier Iberian and Roman settlements, earning fame as the "castle of the 300 towers" for its expansive fortified complex during the Islamic era.

Conquered by King James I of Aragon in 1242, it endured sieges, modifications through medieval times, and housed diverse communities including Christians, Jews, and Muslims, with remnants showcasing layered defensive walls and structures amid the strategic Sierra de Espadán foothills. 

Recently renovated, the site now functions as a cultural hub with a local history museum displaying Muslim plasterwork, Roman artifacts, and interactive exhibits, offering visitors panoramic views and insights into Onda's thousand-year heritage tied to ceramics and regional conflicts.
