Castle of Zafra is a striking 15th-century Gothic-Renaissance fortress in Zafra, Badajoz province, Extremadura, Spain, constructed between 1422 and 1458 by the powerful Dukes of Feria on earlier Moorish and medieval foundations to assert regional dominance.

Renowned for its fairy-tale twin circular towers connected by a grand arched gateway emblazoned with family coats of arms, robust walls, elegant courtyards, and palatial interiors blending military strength with noble opulence, it served as a ducal residence through centuries of border conflicts. 

Well-preserved and converted into the luxurious Parador de Zafra hotel since 1966, the site offers visitors sweeping views over the town's whitewashed buildings and La Serena plains as a premier example of Extremaduran seigneurial architecture.
