Castle Polná is a historic castle and château complex in the town of Polná in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic.

Originally established as a medieval castle in the 13th or early 14th century, it was built on a rocky promontory above the Peklo Pond and played an important role in protecting trade routes and administering the surrounding estate. Over the centuries, the castle was expanded and rebuilt in Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque styles.

Fires, wars, and changing ownership altered its appearance, leaving a unique complex that reflects several periods of Czech architectural history. Today, visitors can see preserved Gothic fortifications, Renaissance elements, Baroque buildings, historic halls, and a fountain dating from 1693.

The site also houses a museum, cultural facilities, exhibitions, and hosts community events throughout the year. As one of Polná’s main landmarks, Castle Polná is valued for its rich history, well-preserved architecture, and its role as a cultural center in a town known for its historic character and heritage.
