Pořešín Castle Ruins are the remains of a medieval Gothic castle located on a rocky promontory above the Malše River, about 4 km north of Kaplice in South Bohemia.

The castle was founded around the late 13th century by the Lords of Strakonice and served as an administrative and defensive center for the surrounding region. The fortress changed owners several times before being taken over by Oldřich of Rožmberk during the Hussite period.

Today, Pořešín is a protected cultural monument that has been partially restored by the Hrady na Malši association. Visitors can explore the ruins, learn about medieval life through a small museum and exhibits, and enjoy one of the best-preserved castle ruin sites in the Kaplice area.
