Čeminy Castle in Czechia was originally constructed as a fortress between 1554 and 1576 by Jan Podmokelský of Prostiboř.
Around the year 1700, it was transformed into a Baroque chateau for the provosts of the Touškov estate. The castle combines architectural elements from its early fortress origins with Baroque modifications. Although it has undergone changes over time, the castle remains a notable landmark reflecting Czech noble history and regional architectural evolution.
It stands as part of the cultural heritage of the area, showcasing the transition from medieval defensive strongholds to more residential and representational estates.
