Chateau Hrubý Rohozec is a historic castle and château located on a rocky hillside above the Jizera River on the outskirts of Turnov in the Czech Republic.

Originally founded as a Gothic castle around 1280 to guard an important trade route, it was gradually transformed over the centuries into a comfortable noble residence with Renaissance, Baroque, and Empire-style features. The estate passed through the hands of several prominent noble families, including the Wallensteins and the Des Fours Walderode family, who owned it for more than 300 years and helped shape its present appearance.

Many of its historic interiors, including libraries, dining rooms, living quarters, and a chapel, have been preserved with original furnishings. Today, Hrubý Rohozec is a national cultural monument open to visitors. Surrounded by an English-style park, it offers a glimpse into aristocratic life in Bohemia and is one of the notable historical attractions in the Bohemian Paradise region near Turnov.
