Chateau Kněžice is a historic château located in the village of Kněžice in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic.

It was built in the late 16th century as a Renaissance hunting lodge on the site of an earlier medieval fortress and was later remodeled in Baroque and Classical styles. For many years, the château belonged to the noble Collalto family and served mainly as a hunting residence thanks to the surrounding forests.

Its architecture was gradually enhanced with towers, elegant interiors, and guest rooms for aristocratic visitors. After World War II, the property was confiscated and used for various administrative purposes. The municipality acquired the château in 2000 and carried out extensive restoration work to preserve the building and prevent further deterioration.

Today, the château functions as a community and cultural center, housing the municipal office, a museum devoted to the local natural environment, and other public facilities. It is an important landmark that reflects the region’s noble heritage and architectural history.
