The structure reflects a mix of styles from austere medieval fortifications to ornate Renaissance and Baroque designs, featuring distinctive round towers inspired by Italian castles.

The interior includes furnishings and artworks spanning several centuries, highlighting noble family portraits, a chapel with Late Gothic frescoes, and richly decorated halls such as the Knight’s Hall with its coffered ceiling.
