Čimelice is a small village and municipality located in the Písek District of the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.

It covers an area of about 10.29 square kilometers and has a population of around 944 residents as of 2024. Geographically, it sits in the Tábor Uplands at an elevation of approximately 416 meters. The village is situated roughly 73 kilometers southeast of Prague and 59 kilometers from Plzeň, with the Skalice River flowing through it and several large fishponds nearby, such as Bisingrovský and Nerestec.

Čimelice's history dates back to at least 1400, and it features historic landmarks including the Church of Holy Trinity and a castle built in the early 18th century. It is accessible via the D4 motorway connecting Prague to Písek and has a railway station on the Prague–České Budějovice line.

The village is also known for its scenic ponds, historical architecture, and traditional autumn gardening fairs, making it a notable location in the South Bohemian landscape.
