Constable Dávalos' Castle, also called the Castle of the Sad Countess or Castle of Don Álvaro de Luna, sits in the town center of Arenas de San Pedro, Ávila province, Spain.
Built in the late 14th to early 15th century by Constable Ruy López Dávalos under King Henry III's grant in 1393, it features a prominent Gothic homage tower and later Renaissance additions. It earned its somber nickname from Juana Pimentel, the widowed Countess who ruled after Álvaro de Luna's 1453 execution, and now stands as a historic monument with panoramic Sierra de Gredos views.
