Coppingerstown Castle is a ruined medieval tower house located in the Geragh area near Midleton, County Cork, Ireland. The castle is believed to have been built in the late 15th century, likely by the FitzGerald or Cotter family, and later became associated with the Coppinger family. Originally a four-storey fortified residence, it was designed to provide both protection and accommodation, reflecting the style of many Irish tower houses of the period. Today, only fragmentary remains survive, and much of the structure has collapsed over time. Historical accounts describe thick stone walls, vaulted sections, defensive features, and adjoining buildings that once formed part of the castle complex.
