Corr Castle is a medieval tower house located in Sutton on the Howth Peninsula in Dublin, Ireland. Believed to have been built in the 15th century, it was strategically positioned to help protect the narrow land route leading to Howth Castle and the nearby port. The castle is an example of a fortified Irish tower house and was later associated with the White family and the St. Lawrence family, who were prominent local landowners. Over the centuries, it served various purposes, including being used as a viewing point for a nearby racecourse. Although much of the surrounding site has changed, the castle remains a protected historic structure and has been partially restored. Today, it stands within a residential development and can still be viewed as an important reminder of Dublin’s medieval heritage.
