Cruickshank Botanic Garden in Aberdeen, Scotland, was established in 1898 when Anne Cruickshank donated the land to the University of Aberdeen in memory of her brother, Dr. Alexander Cruickshank.

Covering 11 acres, the garden serves as both a research and educational resource, featuring over 2,500 labeled plant taxa, including shrub borders, a rock and water garden, sunken garden, rose garden, herbaceous borders, and a peaceful arboretum. It is located on the King’s College campus and maintained through a partnership between the university and the Cruickshank Charitable Trust.

The garden provides a tranquil setting for visitors year-round, hosting educational talks, guided tours, and seasonal events emphasizing plant diversity and conservation.
