Inverness Botanic Gardens and Café is the UK's most northerly botanic gardens, located on Bught Lane in Inverness within walking distance of the city centre, and was opened in 1993 by Prince Edward (formerly known as Inverness Floral Hall & Gardens).

The gardens feature vibrant seasonal displays that change throughout the year, with spring bulb displays, summer herbaceous borders and specimen trees, autumn leaf colour, and winter evergreens with flowering trees and wonderful bark, plus diverse planting showcasing a wide variety of plants and growing conditions.

Key attractions include a large Tropical House filled with glorious tropical planting, a Cactus House with a full selection of mature cactus and plants from arid desert regions, and the GROW Project Gardens run by a special needs group that includes an allotment, herbaceous borders, wildflower areas, ponds, and children's play areas.
