Darëzezë e Re is a small coastal village and resort area in Fier County, on the western side of Albania, known mainly for its long, wide sandy beach along the Adriatic Sea. The place is often called “New Darezeze” and lies in a flat, easily accessible coastal belt where the sea is shallow and stretches out for a long distance, making it especially suitable for families with small children and for kitesurfing when the wind picks up. The beach is relatively undeveloped compared with the main Albanian‑Riviera resorts, with simple beach bars and restaurants and basic accommodation options a short way inland, giving it a relaxed, local‑oriented vibe rather than a heavily commercialized holiday strip. Visitors use Darëzezë e Re more as a quiet seaside stop for swimming, sunbathing, and water sports than as a large town hub, and it is often bundled with visits to nearby Fier and the broader Myzeqe region.
