Delila Beach is a popular, family-friendly beach in Ashkelon, Israel, located on the Mediterranean coast just 2.3 kilometers from the city center in an urban area.

It is one of Ashkelon’s best beaches, known for its crystal-clear, clean water and soft golden sand, though it can get small and crowded, especially during peak times. The beach stretches approximately 1.5 kilometers along the shoreline and is ideal for swimming and sunbathing.

Delila Beach features a modern, free sports complex with four professional beach volleyball courts, a soccer field, functional fitness areas for strength training, and even an archery and ninja course for all ages, making it a dynamic spot for active recreation with beautiful sea views. It offers beach services including chair and umbrella rentals for 10–20 shekels (with partial refund upon return), two lifeguard stations, a breakwater, and a beach volleyball court, and the beach is fully accessible with a ramp to the water and floating chairs for wheelchair users.

The beach borders Ashkelon’s marina on the south and hosts local and national surfing competitions and water sports tournaments annually. Visitors should note that as of April 2026, Israel’s Ministry of Health issued a warning against swimming at Delila Beach due to abnormal seawater quality test results, and the warning remains in effect until further notice.
