Dolní Heřmanice is a small municipality and village in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic, located in the Žďár nad Sázavou District approximately 30 kilometers south of Žďár nad Sázavou and about 35 kilometers east of Jihlava.
It has around 580–600 inhabitants and covers an area of roughly 21 square kilometers, with its main settlement lying at an elevation of about 460–480 meters above sea level, depending on the specific part of the cadastral territory.
The village is composed of two municipal parts, Dolní Heřmanice itself and the smaller settlement of Oslava, and its first written mention dates back to 1349, indicating a long‑standing rural community.
