Dolní Lukavice is a village and municipality in the Plzeň-South District of the Plzeň Region in the Czech Republic, first mentioned in 1216.

It sits between the Plasy Uplands and the Švihov Highlands and is crossed by the Úhlava River. Historically, the village was owned by the Lukavský of Řenče family from the mid-15th century until 1596, followed by the Morzin family who acquired it in 1666. The Morzins demolished an old fortress on the site and commissioned a new Baroque castle, also known as Morzin Palace, which became a family estate.

The renowned composer Joseph Haydn worked for the Morzin family as a Kapellmeister in the late 1750s, spending summers in Dolní Lukavice. The village also features a notable Ionian column from 1741 in its center and a Neo-Romanesque church built in the early 20th century. Dolní Lukavice blends rich musical and aristocratic heritage with its natural surroundings and rural character.
