Eretz Israel Museum
Tel Aviv, Israel
Eretz Israel Museum, also known as Muza, is a large historical and archaeological museum in the Ramat Aviv neighborhood of Tel Aviv, Israel, set on a spacious 20‑acre campus overlooking the city.
Founded in 1953, it is one of the biggest museums in the country and presents Israel’s history and culture through a series of separate pavilions dedicated to different themes such as coins, glass, ceramics, copper, ethnography, folklore, and Jewish material culture.
The site incorporates the ancient port mound of Tel Qasile, dating back to the 12th century BCE, and also features a reconstructed flour mill and oil press, a Byzantine bird‑mosaic garden, a planetarium, and interactive “Man and His Work” exhibits that demonstrate traditional crafts and daily‑life technologies.
