Haga Palace
Solna, Sweden, Sweden
Haga Palace, located in Haga Park in Solna Municipality just north of Stockholm, Sweden, was constructed between 1802 and 1805 as the Queen's Pavilion on commission from King Gustav IV Adolf.
Designed by architect Carl Christoffer Gjörwell and modeled after an Italian villa at Drottningholm, it showcases a simple neoclassical exterior with Doric columns of Finnish marble supporting a balcony, paired with elegant interiors featuring fixed mirrors, carved door frames, and cornices.
Originally intended for the royal children, it later served as a summer residence for figures like Crown Prince Oskar and Crown Princess Josefina in the 1820s, and today remains the private home of Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, and their family.
