Häringe Castle, located near Storbacken in Södermanland south of Stockholm, Sweden, traces its origins to Viking times before Gustav Vasa established a shipyard there in the 1520s, later granting it to Count Gustav Horn who replaced the wooden structure with the current stone building completed in 1657.

Passed down through notable women like Agneta Horn and Agneta Wrede, it underwent lavish 1930s modernization by industrialist Torsten Kreuger featuring Sweden's first Olympic-sized outdoor pool, bowling alley, refrigerators, and an underground tunnel, followed by antique furnishings from Axel and Marguerite Wenner-Gren.

Now operating as a luxury lifestyle hotel and conference center under private ownership since 2017, the Rococo-style manor boasts lounges with photographic art, a gilded bathroom, historic wall panels, and gardens with Nordic god statues open to guests year-round.
