House of Bahá'u'lláh
Baghdad, Iraq
The House of Bahá’u’lláh in Baghdad, Iraq, is one of the most important sacred sites in the Bahá’í Faith.
It was the residence of Bahá’u’lláh, the founder of the Bahá’í Faith, for much of his time in Baghdad between 1853 and 1863 and became known as the “Most Great House.” Regarded by Bahá’ís as a holy place of pilgrimage, the house held immense religious significance due to its association with key events in Bahá’u’lláh’s life and teachings.
