Hrad Úštěk is a medieval Gothic castle located in the historic center of Úštěk in northern Czechia.

It was built in the early 15th century by the Berka family of Dubá and served as both a noble residence and a key defensive element of the town’s fortifications. The castle played a role during the Hussite Wars and was captured and damaged in 1428 before being rebuilt. Over the following centuries it passed through the hands of several owners, including the Jesuits, and gradually lost its military importance.

In the late 18th century, the former castle buildings were converted into a malt house connected with the local brewing industry. Today, parts of the castle survive within a historic complex that includes medieval cellars carved into sandstone bedrock and the nearby Pikart Tower, which once formed part of its defenses. The site is protected as a cultural monument and is an important reminder of Úštěk’s rich medieval heritage.
