Hrad Velký Vřešťov is a ruined medieval castle located on a steep hill near the small town of Velký Vřešťov in the Trutnov district of the Czech Republic. It was likely built in the early 14th century, possibly replacing an older nearby settlement called Starý Vřešťov. The castle served important defensive and symbolic functions, situated on a high hill to control surrounding routes and lands.

It was associated with several noble families, including the Lords of Rýzmburk and Kordule family, and played a role in the Hussite Wars. The castle endured multiple burnings and rebuildings before falling into disuse after 1638, when the owning family lost their estate due to debts.

Today, only earthworks, remnants of moats, and building depressions remain, protected as a cultural monument reflecting its historical significance and medieval military architecture.
